WE GO HOME MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT

As leaders, we have a duty and responsibility to pass on to the next generation the skills and mindset you've developed via knowledge and experience. We don't believe in the "figure it out yourself" mentality; instead, we want to share our knowledge and experiences with you so that you can maximize your chances of success. With this mentorship program, we want to give you the resources that we never had. We lacked a mentor to whom we could reach out and ask particular questions; we lacked a leader who had "been there and done that," who was willing to mentor us toward our larger objectives and genuinely cared about our futures. This is precisely why we are taking action. When you have that in your back pocket, we can see what the short and long-term implications are. You can't be expected to know things you've never been taught, so take advantage of this opportunity to get a leg up on your competitors by asking specific questions that you won't be able to find answers to on the internet. As a mentor, we will be there to provide support and encouragement, provide feedback, and ALWAYS available when you are faced with difficult life decisions. We are huge on personal development and specialize in specific career fields like Law Enforcement, Military Special Operations, and Firefighting.

SPENCER LEWIS

My name is Spencer Lewis. I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. I was first introduced to mentoring my freshman year of high school and honestly ever since then I have never stopped doing it. At a certain point in the military, you are going to be put in those leadership positions, your team will look up to you for guidance in the right direction which is exactly what I was able to experience while being in the military. I enlisted in the Army in 2014 as an 11B (Infantryman), started off in the 82nd Airborne Division and finished my time at 7th Special Forces Group as a 18B (Special Forces Weapons Sergeant). The experiences that I was fortunate to have in the military and special operations community has taught me much more than just military tactics. The mental strength and discipline that you are required to have whether you have it when you start or have to develop it along your journey through the pipeline is out of this world. Overcoming those obstacles and keeping the right mindset when you are faced with adversity is truly something I believe anyone can develop. Those experiences and the knowledge that I was able to gain during my time in the military is what i want to share.

KRIS KAVADA

For over 11 years, Kristian Cavada has served as a firefighter in Southern California. Currently holding the rank of Engineer, he is also an experienced paramedic of 15 years, and has served as a helicopter rescue medic. He is dedicated to helping others achieve their goal of becoming firefighters, having done so successfully for many candidates. Experiencing the struggle of earning his own badge, he is passionate about being a mentor, and knows how valuable having one is to overcome the pitfalls and weaknesses many overlook while trying to get hired. Well known for his love of weight training and fitness, he coaches candidates to not only be a better individual, but to become stronger and faster in preparation for the physical demands of the fire service. As a proud American, devoted husband and father, he values respect, discipline, and hard-work. On his time off, he enjoys exercising his 2nd amendment rights, traveling, and being outdoors (particularly near any body of water).
